Behind The Scenes ~ Photographing Toshiba’s Global Commerce Solutions
We had the pleasure of working with The Frameworks to shoot environmental photography for Toshiba’s new Global Commerce Solutions product line. This mostly included products such as point of sale machines, tablets, barcode scanners, receipt printers and even the software that comes with these products as well as apps for customer’s phones. The concept was based around showing people using each product in its intended environment, whether it be a waiter taking orders on a tablet, or cashier ringing someone up at a grocery store.
The production was very involved and required a lot of planning. We managed the entire preproduction process, which included location scouting and management and casting all the models. Locations included a beautiful new soccer store, a trendy clothing store with a “blue jean bar”, an immaculate grocery store, a couple of popular restaurants and a landscape & gardening store. Somehow we managed all six locations successfully within four long days of shooting. Green Sky Photographer Alex Hoxie did an amazing job capturing thousands of images over 4 days of shooting and producer Melissa Hittle also did an amazing job managing all the pre production and production elements and ensuring all the crew, talent and clients were happy!
We also couldn’t have made this production possible without the great help of our additional hardworking crew, including hair, makeup, wardrobe, lighting and of course our very talented photo retoucher during post production, Juel Zamplas.
